She was first created in 1878. Crafted from precious metal in the finest American tradition. Her ancestors had formed the solid foundation upon which this great republic is built. The raw materials with which she was made came from the very soil of this great land and she carried the pride of her heritage majestically. Her hair was silver and she wore it like a crown. She and her kind made this country breathe and grow and move forward to take it's place among the great nations of the world. Though there were many like her in her day, there are few in circulation now and if you find one, she should be treated with the honor and respect that we reserve for collectors' treasures. Because they truly don't make them like her anymore.
